Just found the Nova Twins this year. I’m sad that I’m only finding this blog now but I’m also happy that at least I found it. I saw on Tumblr you’ve been around since 2011 but are you planning on ending this year since it stated 2011-2024?
It was starting to be a lot to keep up with! When I started this blog in 2011, there were not a lot of black women or people of color in general in rock bands. I am glad that’s changed but it made my job a lot harder! I wasn’t as locked into the scene towards the end as I was when I started either, so a lot of women were flying under the radar. People have continuously found the information I’ve gathered here helpful though, which is why this blog will always remain online as long as I can help that. I don’t know that I planned to end because of the blog’s age specifically (crazy that this blog is almost 14 years old). If I had the energy for it I would’ve kept updating it forever! But I wanted to move on to other things.
