  1. A very good read… Very instructional. For a white male like me, i found the reading very disturbing since we cannot feel the courage that black womens have to show for having their say in the so-called ”open minded and progressive scene”. For a space dedicated to ”misfits” and ”outcasts” the book described the challenges that black womens have to face everyday as a scenester (musician, showbooking, ewtc.) or a fan… Mandatory reading.
